Online Blended Learning Program
Every year, American Red Cross courses prepare millions of workers to prevent and respond to emergencies. With your busy work schedule in mind, the Red Cross is proud to offer convenient Web-based Blended Learning for adult, child and infant CPR, first aid and automated external defibrillation (AED), allowing your employees to learn lifesaving skills right at their own computers!
Blended Learning combines online lessons with traditional instructor-led training. You will complete the knowledge portion online at your own pace and convenience and then participate in an abbreviated skills session where you will practice and demonstrate your skills.
To receive certification, you must successfully complete both the online session (including passing the online exam), and the skills practice and assessment session. Please bring verification of online course completion (proof of completion certificate) to the skills practice and assessment session.
You have up to 14 days after registration to complete the online lessons and 30 days from registration to complete your skills session with an Authorized Instructor.
The American Red Cross has a demo that allows you to test-drive the online portion of the training and to experience first-hand the ease, flexibility and quality of Red Cross Blended learning. Click here to go to the demo.
